As a charitable organization, TIFF is more than an eleven-day Festival; we are proud to showcase programming and activities 365 days a year! Whether it’s providing families and youth facing financial challenges with access to our programming like TIFF Kids through the Pocket Fund, or contributing to other charitable organizations, TIFF is committed to growing and strengthening our community. TIFF brings film-education to youth in under-served communities across the GTA through our Special Delivery programme, and to mental health patients through the Reel Comfort initiative.
TIFF Gives helps other charities with their fundraising efforts by providing complimentary TIFF Memberships and tickets. Since 2011, TIFF has supported over 400 community organizations through this programme.
TIFF Pocket Fund works to ensure that no child or youth is turned away from TIFF's educational and cultural programming due to financial circumstance. Donations from film lovers, TIFF Members, and donors like you provide free and discounted tickets to thousands of young people in need each year.
Reel Comfort provides a creative outlet to mental health clients in Mental Health/Psychiatric Units at Toronto Hospitals through film presentations, special guest visits, and hands-on film craft workshops. This innovative programme engages, educates, and entertains.
Special Delivery reaches out to youth in under-served local communities—bringing film screenings, director discussions and film-craft workshops to community groups free of charge. Since 2002, Special Delivery has reached over 13,000 children and youth across the Greater Toronto Area.
Reel Magic helps individuals and families in financial need attend the Toronto International Film Festival. With support from Sun Life Financial and in conjunction with local social service agencies, this initiative increases access to the Festival, ensuring more Torontonians experience the transformative power of film, regardless of their means.
